Andy Gray (born 1959) is a Scottish Actor, born in Perth. He started in Perth Theatre in 1979 and has been working fairly regularly since.
Andy is well known in Television for Naked Video, City Lights (in which he notably played Chancer), Rab C. Nesbitt and 2000 Acres of Sky.
Film Credits include The Match, Complicity, This Years Love, Small Faces, Time Teens:The Beginning, and 2016s, Tommy’s Honour.
Andy has worked extensively in theatre throughout the country and has been described as “a stalwart of Scottish Theatre!”.
He also writes, directs and produces.
In Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015, Andy was honored the Stage Acting award of Excellence for his portrayal of William Donaldson in
Willie and Sebastian.
He also took the starring role in a channel 4 proposed comedy pilot show "Miles is Better" where he played a very enthusiastic burglar alarm salesman (Miles), who lived with his granny and made her life a living hell.
His most recent television role was Big Jerry Kennedy in Two Thousand Acres of Sky and in the 2007 sitcom Legit.

In 2014 Andy played a leading role as a darker character, Black Ruthven in Scottish Feature Film "Time Teens:The Beginning", with Director Ryan Alexander Dewar and writer/actor Ian Grieve
The Premiere of the film was co-hosted with Andy's panto colleague Grant Stott and attended by politicians and community, before going on to win multiple film awards internationally.
2015 Winner
2015 Edinburgh Fringe saw Andy and the “Kiss me Honey, Honey” team regroup for yet another sell out success.
